We hope that each of you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas season and a Happy New Year! Here in Lima, we celebrated Christmas with several evangelistic activities in and around our church in San Gabriel. Our choir and leaders did a great job in presenting a cantata and drama, and we were blessed to hold a Christmas program in a nearby public school, serving more than 600 students! This school has invited us back to do other programs and hold classes. All in all, we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas season.
The New Year is upon us! We started with Vision Night, launching our theme, “Pray Ye Therefore,” for this year 2023. We will concentrate this year on the subject of prayer. We are looking forward to a great year serving the Lord, and we ask you to join us in prayer for more workers in His field.
We held Vacation Bible School the first week of January since the children are out of school for their summer break. We had a cowboy theme and saw a record attendance, with 85 or more children present and many saved. We also saw several adults trust Jesus as their Saviour during the week.
During the summer months of January, February, and March, we will be having weeklong classes in our institute. Please be in prayer for these weeks, for those who are traveling to speak, and for many students to attend.
Camp is just around the corner! We expect to have around 200 campers and counselors. Please pray that the Lord would work in hearts and that many would make good decisions for Christ. Camp will be held starting the 30th of January.
Thank you for your prayers. We pray that the Lord would continue to bless you as you serve Him.
His for souls,
Zach and Karin Foust
