The month of thankfulness! Thank you, Jesus, for salvation! Thank you, Jesus, for a preacher who shared the Gospel with me! Thank you, Jesus, for a local New Testament church! Thank you, Jesus, for a life worth living! And we could go on and on, Christian!
We started off November with a visit to Roanoke Baptist Church in Roanoke, Indiana. It was a joy to go out on hospital visitation with Pastor Tarr and to observe him ministering to his people. Sunday, we presented our ministry, and I preached the evening service. From Roanoke, we drove to Lakecrest Baptist Church in Waterford, Michigan, to join them for their Missions Conference. On Sunday, I was given the opportunity to preach in Junior Church. Throughout the week, we participated in school chapel and teen soul winning. A blessed time was had by all.
We spent the next weekend at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church located outside Indianapolis. I love how the Lord works special events into our schedule that edify our family. On Saturday, we attended their marriage seminar and left so encouraged. Sunday, I spoke in Sunday school and preached in Junior Church.
After spending time with family in Kentucky for Thanksgiving, we traveled north to Dundee, Michigan, to spend the weekend with Calvary Baptist Church. It was so much fun to go out soul winning with Pastor Brown and his two boys on Saturday. I was reminded of times spent with my brothers and father out soul winning in England. There is joy in serving Jesus together as a family!
Soul Report
During the month of November, we presented the Gospel to 12 people, with 10 accepting Christ. Praise the Lord for open hearts! A highlight to share was when I was out soul winning in Dundee. I was knocking on doors in an apartment and met Juan. Juan claimed that he was saved, but after digging deeper, I discovered that he was putting his faith in past works. With him looking at his Spanish Bible, I led him down the Romans Road, and he received Christ.
Family Update
Ruby is completely mobile! Her balance has improved, and now we are more aware of her adventurous streak. She has also mastered the words Dada and Momma. Hearing her say those words makes the heart melt. Thank you, pastor, staff member, deacon, layman, nursery worker, bus worker, and faithful church member for your love, prayers, and support!
