At this Christmas season, we are so thankful for the birth of our wonderful Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. We wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed year ahead. We appreciate your prayers and your cards, pictures, and gifts. It means a lot, and we do not take your thoughtfulness for granted.
Divine Appointments
One of the jacks on our motor home was broken. We stopped at a truck stop in Kentucky to repair it. While I was fixing it, a trucker came over to check on us. Our conversation turned to a spiritual need that he had, and after I shared the Good News of the Gospel with him, Roger called upon Jesus and accepted Him as his own personal Saviour. It was a joy to see how God met his need.
We had a Storm family reunion up in the mountains of Tennessee for Thanksgiving this year. It was a wonderful time for all of us! To top off a beautiful week, we met Duran, a businessman in town. He was already a Christian, but he wanted me to talk to his employee, who had an alcohol problem. As I shared the Gospel with him, he humbly trusted Jesus as his Saviour. “. . . there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” (Luke 15:10) We invited them and their wives to a great bus-running church we had visited in the same town, Heritage Baptist Church, Jacksboro, Tennessee.
God’s Protection
In October and November, God allowed us to travel 1,514 miles and help 17 churches. With God’s help, we were able to help the mechanics fix 26 buses. That is not including the buses we helped fix over the phone. By using the video call, it is easier to identify the problem and help the mechanic fix it right then.
We are grateful for your partnership with us through your faithful prayers and support. Thank you for all your prayers for a utility truck to replace our old one. We located one, and we are in the process of purchasing the type of truck we need for the job. We are thanking God for His answers to our prayers.
If you have any bus questions, problems, or issues, please call or text me at 219-689-0011. We have several bus- resource and bus-procedure forms that can be a help to you. You are welcome to copy any of the material for your Bus Ministry needs. The Bus Ministry is one of the greatest ways for the churches to reach the poor and needy for Christ. We need to reach them while we can.
Prayer Requests
(1) Pray that we can reach more bus families for Christ. (2) Pray that more churches will grow their Bus Ministries and that more CDL drivers, mechanics, and bus workers will volunteer. (3) Pray for our continued health and safety. We are grateful for your prayers.
Yours for souls,
Warren & Jary Lynn Storm
