I have some very exciting news to tell you! First of all, I would like to announce that we are expecting our second child! Very soon, Edward will get to have a baby brother to play with. Please pray for a safe operation, as Czarinna’s doctor has scheduled for her to have a C-section on September 16. The doctor scheduled the C-section ahead of time because Czarinna has gestational diabetes and had a previous C-section with Edward. If you would like to help us out as we prepare for our baby, then you can scan the QR code below and check out our Baby Registry at Amazon.
My other exciting news to tell you is that our church in the Philippines has finally had its groundbreaking ceremony on our church building! It was a long time in coming; but, praise the Lord, all the paperwork and necessary permits were put in order just in time for our church anniversary on July 31. Here to the left is one of our chapel preachers breaking up some concrete to help raise the ground level and fill in the holes left by grazing water buffalo. This needs to be done before construction on the church building can begin. God also blessed our church anniversary with 370 in attendance for the first morning service and 400-plus in attendance for the second morning service. Most of our visitors attended the first morning service, and I am very happy to report that 250 people received the Gospel and made Heaven their home!
How we wish we could have been back in the Philippines for such a momentous occasion for our church, but we are very happy that the Lord’s work can continue to keep moving forward. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, as we are getting close to 100% support! We currently have 81% of our support raised and coming in each month. Please also pray for Czarinna, as we just filed for her USA citizenship on August 9. Pray that the immigration officers would be merciful as they handle her citizenship papers and that this last process would go smoothly as possible without any problems. The last immigration officer that we talked to said that her citizenship papers should be approved in six months at the maximum.
For I (the Lord) know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, to give you an expected end,
Ian and Czarinna Vincent
