Our Great Physician
When I had minor outpatient surgery on September 21, the day after my birthday, your cards, thoughts, and prayers meant so much to us. The surgery went well, and I was able to get back to working on buses in just two weeks. God answered your prayers. We are so thankful for you.
New Church
We had the joy of helping Dr. James Green of Parker Memorial Baptist Church. His youth pastor, Paul Snyder, contacted us for help on their buses. We went there, and I preached that Sunday night. Dr. Green invited us to their Servants’ Retreat, which was being held at Shipshewana, Indiana. Our dear friend, Pastor Doug Rogers, made it possible for us to go. Dr. Chuck Harding and Dr. Tom Williams were the guest speakers. God blessed in a great way! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing time.
Bus Purchases
It was a blessing to be able to help 15 churches who were looking to purchase buses. If you are looking for a bus, there are some definite dos and don’ts about purchasing a bus. I have updated our Resource List. If you would like a copy, you can e-mail me at busmankbr@gmail.com for all the current resources.
In early September, God enabled us to help churches in Michigan and Kentucky, and in October, we helped churches in Indiana. We traveled 1,487 miles, helping 9 churches. We helped the church mechanics fix 15 buses, putting 5 back on the road that had been off and not working.
All Things Work Together for Good
Five souls accepted the Lord Jesus as their own personal Saviour. One of those who trusted Christ was the Safelite man, Al. He came to our house to replace our motorhome windshield, which, for the second time this year, had been broken by highway stones. He knew several people from our church. The Lord had been dealing with him, and he was ready to accept Jesus as his Saviour. He got it settled right there. To God be the glory!
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and financial support. We are very grateful for your faith in our Keep the Buses Rolling ministry. We need to reach them while we can!
Prayer Requests
1. We have several mechanics that are considering doing what we are doing on a regional basis.
2. Pray for a replacement utility truck; our old one is getting tired.
3. Pray for more churches to start Bus Ministries and for existing Bus Ministries to grow.
4. Pray for our health and safely.
Yours for souls,
Warren & Jary Lynn Storm
