Radio Update
We have continued to see first-time visitors come to our church from the radio. We have had people get baptized, join the church, and begin bringing others. A man by the name of Bruno started coming because of the radio. He trusted Christ and was baptized. He eventually brought his wife and family. A few Sundays ago, he brought his sister, who joined the church as well. It truly is amazing to see the fruit from this ministry. Our home church donated 100 frequency-locked radios for people to listen to our station. Every week, we have been calling listeners, whom we have chosen to be “Winners,” to receive one of the radios. The wonderful part about this is that they have to come to church on Sunday to claim their prize. We have seen many people come to church as well from this program. Please continue to pray for this great ministry.
Preachers’ Conference
What a wonderful time we had at our Preachers’ Conference. We had four of our pastors come for some extensive training. This had been a dream of mine for some time. We were able to bring together all the pastors we are currently working with and do some further training. It was a great time of fellowship. It was also a blessing to have four of our staff men do some of the teaching. We taught them both practical and doctrinal lessons, as well as had time for fellowship. Everyone was blessed, and they returned home with a new fire to serve the Lord.
Building Faith
Another $3,000 has come in for “Project Building Faith.” Our church folks have continued to give to their year-long commitments. Please pray for this important building project.
Dumila Church Building
We had the wonderful opportunity to help Faith Baptist Church of Dumila build a church building. The pastor and church members worked hard making the bricks, carrying water, and helping with the construction in many different ways. The dedication service was a very exciting time. The people were so happy to have a simple structure where they can worship.
Gospel Message in Swahili
I recently had the opportunity to record the Gospel message in Swahili. We would like to share it with as many people as possible. If you ever come across a Tanzanian, please feel free to use this tool. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHyveRc6BYQ.
