Thank you for the opportunity to represent you in Taiwan! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support, as well as the gifts, cards, and emails over the holidays and well wishes for our anniversary and birthdays! You all are so very kind to us!
We made it back safely for our scheduled furlough and were able to see family and friends over the Christmas holidays. The Lord has provided marvelously for us in supplying us with a sufficiently large vehicle to use for the duration of our trip, as well as wonderful places to stay! We are traveling primarily to newer churches in the Midwest.
J___ G___ (eighth child, third girl) was born on February 1; both M___ and Baby are doing well. Her first trip out was for a passport photo—only a missionary kid could say that, I guess. Please pray that all of the paperwork, etc. would process smoothly for our mid-May return to Taiwan.
C___ in England has finished Level 1 of discipleship and made good progress into Level 2. Pray that he would continue to grow and become more productive and spiritually discerning.
Before leaving Taiwan, it was exciting one evening to go to the night market and meet a fellow among the hundreds we interacted with who wanted to know about being a Christian. Please pray that God would open doors and give us divine appointments. One such appointment in the U.S. was in Michigan with a man named J___ sitting in a church parking lot. After witnessing to him, he said that it was the most bizarre event that had ever happened in his life. While J___ has not yet trusted Christ, we have stayed in contact, and I ask you to keep him in your prayers. I praise the Lord that C___ became one while out visiting in Lake Station, Indiana. Pray that he would grow in Christ and attend church.
Thank you so very much for your faithful prayers and support! You’re the best! Keep up the great work in your place of service! Pray for our smooth and peaceful return and for us to be able to meet young men to train for God’s glory in Y___.
Believing God,
