Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” My family and I would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2021. My prayer is that together we can accomplish greater works for Christ during 2021.
As 2020 is coming to an end, I want to thank the Lord for allowing us the great honor and privilege of serving the people of Puerto Rico. Without a doubt, this has been a difficult year for so many. In Puerto Rico this year, we have been rattled with earthquakes, storms, and COVID lockdowns. I’m thankful that, through all these challenges, GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD, and the lower lights continue to shine as our church continues to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
Recently our son Luis surprised us for Thanksgiving Break. We went soul winning together that Saturday, and we led a family of five to the Lord. The entire family came to church that Sunday, and the father was baptized. I’m thankful that even though we are under a strict COVID lockdown, we continue to hold church services in person, and we also broadcast virtually for those not able to attend.
PRAYER REQUESTS
• Please pray for families to return to church.
• Please pray for our school, Lighthouse Baptist Academy, to reopen.
• Please pray for our daughter Carolina Raquel as she prepares to attend Hyles-Anderson College.
• Please pray for travel mercies as we travel to the USA for Christmas.
