Theresa and I were able to attend Kevin’s graduation at Golden State Baptist College recently. It was a great privilege to be there for that commencement and the activities leading up to that event.
This spring we had another honor. Our oldest daughter Kara got married at Salem Baptist Church in Decatur, Illinois. It was a blessed time to be with relatives and friends. Once again, we enjoyed all the preparations before the occasion, as well as the actual ceremony itself.
Before we return to Haiti, there is another matter we would like to take care of. We helped move our oldest son Keith Jr. from Marion, Iowa, to Des Moines, Iowa, a few weeks ago. Keith and Jennifer, along with their teenage children, Kyle and Kamryn, have made this relocation with the intent of planting a church. Solid Rock Baptist Church is scheduled to begin in August, but we would like to help with the footwork leading up to the first service.
Haiti has been in the world news recently because of the increase in gas prices. Many have responded with public demonstrations. Most of this activity has been reported in Port-au-Prince, five or six hours from where we serve in St. Raphael.
I am humbled that you continue to partner with us. Thank you for your support.
Respectfully,
Keith and Theresa Baker
