Today, March 22, is World Water Day, an annual moment of awareness for the 771 million people who live without access to clean water. It’s a day to remember that, somehow, real people are drinking water that looks like the pictures in this letter.
From neon green to vaguely maroon to classic beige, I’ve seen dirty water in every shade imaginable—and never want to see someone drink it again.
Check out Hays Pure Water to see the water crisis in full color. Then pick a shade to share. Let’s show the world what the water crisis really means for the 771 million people who deserve to drink clean water in the only shade it should be—crystal clear.
Thank you for joining me in my mission to end the water crisis. We’re blessed to do this work alongside you on #WorldWaterDay and every day.
The Lord is leading me into Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the Ivory Coast. I’m taking 200 water-treatment systems and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to these three countries. The current need is well over 350! That makes me $15,000 short.
If your church wants to support a missionary, please call me at 712.314.6347 for a time we can meet.
About John Hays, Pure Water for All Foundation
At Hays
Pure Water: I am a big fan of clean water in the only shade water should be—crystal clear. Since 2006, I’ve worked with national pastors and missionaries in 50 countries to fund clean and safe water for millions of people. Together, with the help of many supporters like you, I’m on a mission to end the water crisis in my lifetime and to present the Gospel to all those who receive my water-purification systems.
His water boy,
John Hays
