Some stories settle into your heart long after you’ve heard them. This is one of those. George Menyon retired from being a general in the Liberian Civil War. He spent years going to Pastor Ted Speer and Team Ghana’s Pastors’ School. He returned to his home in Liberia to start the Grandview Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia, and raise his family. The country was left with few missionaries and little infrastructure. Today he is giving drinking water to those who have a polluted pond to drink from. He is giving the Living Water to those who have not heard of Jesus.
Bro. Menyon testifies of what Jesus is doing in the Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and Liberia, Africa. He says the Klor-Gen machine has been a great help to his country. A lot of lives have been saved with the use of this machine, and 2,000 souls have been saved.
It has healed a lot of people who have infections, and it has been a help to those who cannot give birth. There was a lady who was almost dying in a hospital in the Ivory Coast. She drank this water and is still alive. People with sores on their legs are healed when they put their sores in the water. Three churches have been started from this ministry of giving pure water, and a fourth is being started in the Ivory Coast. It will be called Living Water Baptist Church.
Giving the Gospel is the focus of these projects. A massive distribution will be going to churches in Central Liberia. More distributions are given to the military and the police in Liberia, and they are very appreciative. Some are being given to the Mali peace-keeping force. There is no more sickness, and babies are not dying from dirty water.
God is working through this machine. Pray that this work will continue. Testimonies are also coming in from India and the Amazon Jungle in Peru.
