God has been so good in working through us as we serve Him! We are just a month away from graduating scores of students from Hyles-Anderson College who plan to serve the Lord with their lives. Please pray that God uses them for His purpose. What a joy it is to have a small part in the teaching and training here at the college. God also blessed our Servants’ Conference two weeks ago here at the First Baptist Church of Hammond.
So far in 2025, God has allowed me to help several FBMI missionaries get ready to leave for the mission field, help them make plans for their future ministries, help them with questions about financial reporting as a missionary, help them connect with churches in which to present their ministry, or help them in a myriad of other ways.
My wife and I are enjoying our grandson Connor, who is almost two years old. Xavier and Katie are doing such a great job with him. We are pleased to announce that Katie, our daughter, is expecting our first granddaughter in July. Grandchildren are so much fun! Please pray that they get saved at an early age and serve the Lord!
What a fruitful season! My wife and I had been praying for a while for a greeter at a grocery store to get saved; and recently, her husband had a heart attack. They are in their 80s. That led to her allowing me to come to her home and witness to her husband and her, and they both sweetly got saved. Two weeks later while out soul winning, God allowed me to see Oscar, who was on his porch in Hammond, get saved. Then, another soul winner knocked on a door and realized that Arlen only spoke Spanish, so they called me over, and I was able to win her to Christ in Spanish. Please pray for spiritual growth!
Please pray for us and my dad as we care for him. He is struggling with his health, so he lives with us in our home. Please pray for our FBMI Missionary Candidate School June 9-13, 2025, and our FBMI Missions University July 14-17, 2025.
