The month of May had us presenting in 12 different churches across Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. We also saw 4 more churches starting to send monthly support (North Park Baptist Church of Walden, Colorado; Calvary Baptist Church of Dundee, Michigan; Grace Baptist Church of Flower Mound, Texas; and New Beginnings Baptist Church of Roxboro, North Carolina).
As an update on an answer to prayer, in our October prayer letter, I mentioned Ayodeji (Ayo), who was working at the front desk of the hotel our family was staying at in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. He was originally from Omagwa, a small village in Rivers State, Nigeria. I was able to show him a picture of me next to the sign for Omagwa Independent Baptist Church, where I had helped Pastor Koinyan have a big day for the church’s 6th anniversary. Ayo was so impressed that he drove an hour after working at his second job to hear me preach at Grace & Truth Bible Church of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. Ayo later got a new phone number, so I lost contact with him; however, on May 21, he reached back out to me. He is now living in Ontario, Canada. In an answer to our prayers, he has been reunited with his wife after three years of separation due to an inability to get her visa approved to leave Nigeria, as well as being reunited with his son Jesse, whom he had never had a chance to meet in person. Praise God! He plans to come hear me preach again when I’m back in Canada for a meeting in January.
