About this time last year, we arrived in the Philippines to prepare for our annual Tent Revival; and, praise the Lord, we saw a great harvest of souls saved. Little did we know that the day after the Tent Revival, the WHO (World Health Organization) would declare COVID-19 a global pandemic! Sadly, the COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines are still so strict in the Philippines that we cannot have our annual Tent Revival this year. This is the first time that we have ever had to cancel our Tent Revival, and this will be the first time in 10 years that I will not be in the Philippines. My heart breaks over not being in the Philippines and not having a Tent Revival, but this is the season and the place that God has placed us in as we continue on the deputation trail.
While we couldn’t partake in a Tent Revival, we were privileged to help in our home church’s Scripture Seedline Project. We helped collate and staple over 19,000 John and Romans for the Shona people group of Zimbabwe, Africa. How exciting it was for us to help an underprivileged people group to have their own copy of John and Romans in their own language.
We are happy to report that a church near Denver, Colorado, just took us on for support! The first Sunday of February, we were at a church in Princeton, Indiana, for their Missions Month, and the pastor’s son was impressed of God to give his jar of coins for missions! We will be using this jar of coins for an upcoming Youth Camp that our church’s youth in the Philippines will attend.
Please pray for the upcoming Youth Camp that our church’s youth will attend March 29 – April 2. Pray for their safety. Pray for the unsaved visitors to get saved and baptized. Pray also for the Christian youth to be more on fire for God. We can always use more workers in our church. Our church will be bringing over 100 youth to this Youth Camp.
So little time, the harvest will be over,
