It’s been a real joy having visitors. We have recently been visited by Kentucky, Texas, Colorado, and California ministries, each of which has been such a blessing to us. Thanks for coming! You went soul winning! You preached! You shared and were an encouragement to our family, our church, and our fellow missionary friends, the Williams, in Skelmersdale. Perhaps your visits will create a trend for others to come invest in person in England!
Summer Programs
So far this year, we have had 76 first-time visitors in our church and 54 souls who have trusted Christ for Heaven! Very soon, we will be hosting our Vacation Bible School. Please pray that many will come to hear the Good News and that salvation decisions will be made. Our church folks are busy helping with special days, and we have taken a few day trips to give them a time for fun and relaxation. We are hard at work each week with soul winning, discipleship, and opportunities for Christian growth through sermons and Bible studies.
Keep Working
We can get a little overwhelmed in the work that God has given us, but the key is to keep working. Paul gave us an admonition in Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Notice that Paul includes himself in the ones who potentially will be weary in the work of God. Therefore, being weary in the work is a danger we all face, but we need to keep going, toiling, and laboring. Eventually we will reap a harvest and give it to the Lord. I would like to take this time now to thank all of you who faithfully pray and financially support this ministry. You are an inspiration to us, and we are thankful for every prayer and dollar sent our way. It is our heartfelt desire to return your personal investment with souls saved and lives changed for Christ’s glory in this land. So, we work!
Family Growth
The Solt Team is down two members in this country, but we rejoice to hear of the efforts of our older lads in the U.S. The summer ministries of Hammond have kept them stretching and growing for the Lord. Daniel is getting extra time in driving the church bus for special events like VBS, Youth Conference, and camp; and he’s taken on extra leadership roles. Joshua is learning more about teen ministries with opportunities to serve in Youth Conference and camp. Jeremy is also being challenged to fill the gaps his brothers have left here in the UK, especially with our own VBS duties. Keep tuned for more family growth in the form of gaining a daughter, as Daniel marries Rachel Strong in September!
Special prayer is requested for my dad, Ron Solt, as he is now under hospice care at home; and my mom, Anne Solt, would certainly
benefit from your loving prayers. Thanks for those who invest prayer time toward our ministry and family. God bless you.
Yours for souls,
The Solt Family
