Thank you so much for your continual prayers for our evangelistic campaigns and ministry to take the Gospel to the lost. The Lord is blessing in a wonderful way. We are so thankful for all you do to help us to reach others for the Lord. The faithfulness in your love, prayers, and support is making a difference in the lives of others.
The Lord worked in a great way as we held evangelistic campaigns in and around Puebla, Mexico. One Saturday, I held an evangelistic event with a church. About 150 attended, and about 100 people trusted Christ as their Saviour. The next day, the church had many visitors, with some following the Lord in believer’s baptism. Later with another church, we did several evangelistic events in different locations; we preached the Gospel to about 566 people, with around 452 people trusting Christ as their Saviour.
I try to encourage churches to do evangelistic campaigns even during the week because we can have great results for the Lord. One church worked to do something midweek. They saw that a circus was in town and asked to use their tent for a meeting. There were only a few short hours to invite people during the daytime by the time they received permission, but the Lord blessed with 83 visitors! Then another church took another midweek time, and we preached the Gospel to over 550 people, with 461 trusting Christ as their Saviour! The Lord wants to save people every day of the week! Amen!
I was also able to preach in Cortazar, Guanajuato. I encouraged the pastor to invite other pastors and churches nearby to help in the evangelistic campaign. Three or four churches joined in to help. We went to schools when the students were getting out so we could invite them to the evangelistic rally. That way we were able to give out many more invitations and Gospel tracts in a short amount of time. Even though it was the rainy season and raining here and there, the Lord blessed the two evangelistic rallies and personal soul winning, with over 500 people trusting Christ as their Saviour! To God be all the glory!
Let me share with you a quick personal soul-winning story. One Sunday afternoon before the evening service, my family and I went soul winning. We drove around looking for people outside and were able to catch people in parks, on the streets, etc. The Lord blessed greatly. My wife got to win 10 precious souls to the Lord. I had the privilege of seeing 9 people trust Christ as their Saviour, and our son Michael, of whom we are so proud, got to win 13 people to the Lord. By the way, Michael just turned 16 years of age on September 15. He has preached in a few churches already and has given a salvation testimony in my evangelistic events many times. Please pray that God would use Michael in a great way for the glory and honor of the Lord Jesus Christ and that he would reach many more precious souls for the Lord.
