“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:14)
We are so thankful for the redemption that we have through Jesus Christ! Sometimes I wonder how a lost person goes through life, trying to deal with all of the problems that arise. I’m so thankful to be able to lean on Jesus for every need and to get the opportunity to serve Him! It must be a miserable existence to go through life unsaved. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be able to point people to Jesus so that they can find hope!
We had the opportunity to present the work in seven different churches this month! We were in my home state of Michigan for most of the month, so we had the opportunity to spend some time with family and old friends. We were blessed with many opportunities to share the Gospel and pass out tracts. I’m so thankful for all of the opportunities to reach people, but I’m also burdened because I know that there are still many people around the world who have yet to hear. The Gospel is only good news if it gets there in time!
Getting to be a part of Vacation Bible School at my dad’s church was a great honor! Over 60 kids and teenagers heard the Gospel presented and had the opportunity to make life-changing decisions, and 14 young people made a profession of faith! This VBS was extra special to be a part of because I attended it while growing up.
Thank you to those who prayed about us getting our visas in time for our survey trip. We went down to near Atlanta to fill out paperwork. Thankfully, we have been given our visas and are looking forward to our survey trip to Nigeria in September! We ask that you pray for the people we will have the opportunity to minister to while we are there; pray that God would even now start softening hearts. Also, pray that God would continue to give us a greater burden for the people of Nigeria.
Thank you for all of your prayers and support! It is a privilege to be able to partner with other servants of God, so that we can all be able to fulfill the Great Commission! We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
The Daniel Lang Family
