Greetings from the Western half of the United States of America! We are so thankful for your prayers as we have journeyed out West. This month was the beginning of our 5,500-mile loop through Montana, California, Arizona, and then back to the Midwest in February. Praise the Lord, our car is holding up well, and there have not been any major incidents along our journey.
The first weekend of December was spent at Grace Baptist Church in Colombia Falls, Montana. Pastor Bergstrom and his family played a huge part in Rachel’s childhood. We were so privileged to present our ministry to them and share in their Sunday services. It was also a joy to preach the morning and evening services. Praise the Lord for good Christians who are striving to serve the Lord in the outer reaches of our nation.
The next weekend, we were at Old Fashion Baptist Church in Butte, Montana. On Saturday, I went out soul winning with my brother-in-law, Joshua Strong, and we were able to present the Gospel to one soul. On Sunday, Pastor Loewen graciously had me preach to the Junior Church and evening-service crowd. Rachel’s first youth pastor was Pastor Loewen, so it was an extra special blessing to be with them.
From Butte, we traveled to Florence to be with Rachel’s family for the Christmas season. It was during this time that Montana got hammered with extreme snow and cold, and we were praising the Lord for His provision and timing to be stationary during the storm. That Sunday was spent at Rachel’s home church, Florence Baptist Church. We were so thrilled to present our ministry, and I was given the opportunity to preach all the Sunday services. We finished out December at this dear church and enjoyed celebrating Christ’s birth and ringing in the New Year.
Soul Report
Praise the Lord! In 2022, we were able to present the Gospel to 44 souls, with 13 accepting Christ. Our support level has officially reached double digits, and we are now at a 10% support level. We are honored to be able to represent you in the USA and, one day soon, in England.
Family Update
December has been the month of learning how to live with a toddler. Ruby has been eating more solid foods—thanks to her first two teeth, and she is beginning to expand her vocabulary. She is not only walking, but she also loves to climb and run! We celebrated her first birthday this month. I never thought I would see my little girl
face-plant in her cake—too much fun! Thank you for loving our family this past year!
