“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalm 127:3) Misty gave birth to our seventh child on July 6. Although Benjamin really wanted a little brother, we are pleased to have another baby girl, Aliyah Peace. We thank the Lord that Aliyah was born without any complications, and both Misty and the baby are well.
In our last prayer letter, I mentioned that a group of teenagers came down from my home church in Hammond, Indiana, on their senior trip. Amongst other activities, they helped us put on three Bible Clubs spread throughout our town. One of those Bible Clubs, a mother, Evelyn, attended with her two children. The next day, they attended our services for the first time. After coming faithfully for a month, Evelyn’s husband Hugo got saved and started coming with his family. Last month, Evelyn brought her brother Edvin, his wife Yolanda, and their son Abner to church. Abner received Christ with his Sunday school teacher, and I was able to lead Edvin to the Lord last week while visiting him in his home. Now both families have received Christ as Saviour and attend church regularly. Thank you, teenagers, for being willing to be conduits for the Lord.
I am excited to announce that a church recently donated enough money to put in the slab for the third floor of our educational building. After we finish this project, we will be ready to enclose the building by putting up the exterior walls. This will help provide the Sunday school space needed to continue growing. After 17 years of remodeling, building, and adding on, the end is finally in sight. Thank you to all who have helped make this vision a reality.
We will be holding our annual Youth Conference December 1–3. Our special speakers this year will be Pastor Danny Ortiz and Pastor Ricky Torres. We are expecting our largest attendance yet. Please pray that the Lord will move and work in the lives of all who attend.
His for souls,
Daniel and Misty Wilder, Lydia, Charity, Emily, Hannah, Serenity, Benjamin, and Aliyah
