It is a wonderful thing to serve the Lord! He is so gracious and such a great communicator. His power has been obvious in soul winning also.
It was a wonderful privilege and honor to preach the blessed Word of God in two conferences recently. The new church plants have also given me ample opportunities to teach adult Sunday school classes and preach. In the Bible Conference, the Lord gave good opportunities to teach in small group sessions, as well as to close the conference. By His grace, the altar was full, with many surrendering their lives to full-time Christian service. In the Missions Conference, there were good Faith Promise commitments, and many decisions were made to surrender to full-time Christian service.
One of the conferences was close to Guadalajara, and the Lord gave me a Bible verse to seek the van there. By the grace of God, I was able to buy the van there. As amazing and generous as His provision to buy the van was, so also was His provision in buying the vehicle itself. By His grace, I have been able to have two good talks with Dr. Luis Ramos recently, and I am looking forward to taking a whole team of workers with me soon to the new church plants and seeing the van full for church services. In the meantime, it is being used in the ministries of the church pastored by Dr. Luis Ramos.
Another great blessing was to reconnect with the church in Guadalajara, where I served for seven years before moving to work with Dr. Luis Ramos. I went to Pastor Murillo’s funeral in April, but I got to spend three weeks with the folks there in September due to delays in the process of buying the van. It seems it was all in His providence. The Lord used me to bring some comfort and encouragement to the people there. Some I had been praying for came back to church, and others made good decisions.
