We trust that you had a wonderful holiday season and are off to a great 2019. In the past months, we have been in meetings in Indiana, Illinois, and Florida. In two of those meetings, I have been able to spend some time working on Teaching All Nations and Teaching Our People projects with Dr. Ed Tutton. We’re excited about new booklets coming and a website for TAN, which will allow us greater exposure and the opportunity to begin teaching even more national pastors and set up more Bible institutes in Asia.
I am pleased to announce that they have completed the church building for the Mangyan Tribe on the island of Mindoro. The church is meeting there, but it is unsafe right now for the missionary to visit them because of Communist rebel activity in that area. I hope to have some photos later to show these dear folks in their own meeting place. Please pray for the safety of the members.
We have begun two projects that will help in reaching and discipling more Asians with the Gospel. One of my former college graduates has located an individual who will begin the translation of the Foundations of My Faith discipleship lessons into the Vietnamese language. The lessons are already being used in English classes she is teaching there. Just recently I have found a way to help a friend who has a group Facebook page he is using to record the Gospel in several foreign languages. I am thrilled to be able to introduce him to many of my contacts throughout Asia who are willing to record the Gospel in their language for him to use. Pray that thousands will be saved through this project.
Kay and Brianna are doing fine. We are all enduring the cold and snow, which has been a sharp contrast from the weather we experienced in the Philippines. Would you please make my health a matter of prayer? We are asking God to provide about $10,000 for a special treatment for my neuropathy and some very much-needed dental work.
Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you to reach Asia!
