We just finished our Missions-Emphasis Month at our church, and I was privileged to preach again throughout the month. Once again, we increased our commitments by over 25% for the coming year. It was especially exciting for me to have my wife’s niece and her husband with us, who are planting a church in New York City. It was also surprising to have a couple going to the Philippines that will work with a tribal group that I have trained in the past and also helped get a building built for them to meet in. There is nothing more rewarding than being a missionary!
I am pleased to announce that we were able to raise the needed funds to purchase all of the items needed for the Burmese orphan children mentioned in our last newsletter. It was wonderful to see our supporters step up and meet this request so quickly. A big thank you for all who helped.
It has been exciting to see that Teaching All Nations is expanding on the vision of Dr. Ed Tutton. They have arranged for me to be able to do some online teaching through Zoom meetings. We have been able to teach both Indian and Filipino groups and are looking forward to reaching hundreds in the next few months. Please pray that God will open more doors to train Asian national pastors.
Brianna and Kay are both doing very well. Bri is completing a driver’s education class and has started a part-time job at our local library. Kay is busy taking care of us and communicating with scores of missionary families around the world. I sure couldn’t do without these two special ladies in my life.
Please keep our health in your prayers, as we have all struggled in recent days. I will be meeting with my cardiologist this coming week to go over a battery of tests she ordered after a visit to the emergency room a few weeks back. Please pray that there is nothing seriously wrong with my ticker.
Thank you again for your steadfast prayers and continued support for us. Many of you sent birthday and anniversary greetings. We love and appreciate each one of you.
