Halfway Mark
Through your prayers, generosities, and partnerships, the Lord has taken us to the 50% support level through our first 12 months of deputation. We thank you and thank the Lord for the encouraging results. We are Thailand bound and look forward to digging in for the long term when that time arrives. Here in January, we had enjoyable soul-winning times and were thankful for productive and beneficial meetings in Ohio, Indiana, and Kansas.
On the west side of Indianapolis, Sarah was able to give the Gospel to Daniel, who was working at Dunkin’ Donuts. Daniel listened well and was concerned with where he would spend eternity. Sarah encouraged him, gave the Gospel to him, and asked him to consider asking Jesus to save him from his sins and take him to Heaven. Please pray for Daniel’s salvation.
In Lawrence, Kansas, Sarah and I, along with our three children, were able to knock several doors and plant seeds of the Gospel in many people. One man was looking for a good church. He was encouraged, given the Gospel, and thanked for his desire to follow God. Another woman used to attend church faithfully but has not been in a while given some marital problems. She enjoyed us visiting her and was all smiles about what we were doing in her neighborhood. Many others also enjoyed the fact that we were trying to help people learn about the Lord and be a light for the community. We did not see anyone saved that morning but sure had fun visiting. One of the men from Heritage Baptist Church led a man to the Lord on a nearby street.
In Fort Wayne, Indiana, Pastor Mike Tarr and I made several visits, with many blessings as a result. Corey, a 23-year old man, trusted the Lord as Pastor Tarr took good time to relay the truths clearly. Corey knew that God was going to need to be a big part of his life if he was to overcome the harsh influences of this world. Praise the Lord that God is with us all the time and waiting to take us in for treatment. Please pray for Corey’s growth in the Lord and that he would continue to turn to God for answers.
From February to October of this year, we plan to be in the Western U.S. We would enjoy presenting our burden for Thailand if you see fit. Please pray for our safety as we drive. Please pray for strong relationships as we visit churches. Also, please pray for our Thailand church members and missionaries as many Thais continue to be reached and grow in the Lord.
If you have ever considered missions or if the Lord is calling you to be a missionary, we can testify that God delivers everything you need and makes your journeys fulfilling. In the end, following Him, regardless if it’s a foreign mission field or here in the States, is the most satisfying and rewarding thing you can do in your life.
Grateful to serve,
Chad Inman and Family
