The need for Gospel tracts, Bibles, and Gospel booklets is urgent. Our goal has been to distribute 1 million Gospel tracts per year! We have not yet reached this goal, but we are going forward by faith. We have distributed 50,000 Gospel tracts in the last 3 months just through our church. God is leading me to raise the funds to go forward and print 1 million Gospel tracts and distribute 2,000 Bibles, 100,000 Gospel booklets with the plan of salvation, and John and Romans booklets before the end of this year. We are still under a full COVID-19 quarantine here in Argentina! The government authorities are enforcing the stay-at-home order. We are allowed to go shopping for groceries! I was able to get permission from the government to visit our people who are in need of spiritual help. Here, the police are on the streets, trying to enforce the stay-at-home order. We are required to wear a mask covering our mouth and nose. The restaurants and coffee shops are closed. Our church is still open, but barely, with a lot of government restrictions. We are still seeing first-time visitors and people baptized. Praise the Lord!
During the first week of July, a new church was started in Concepción, Tucumán, a city of 49,000, with no independent Baptist church. A member of our church, who is dearly loved and respected, answered the Macedonian Call to go to this city. Pastor Jose Tedeschi went soul winning door to door, and the first soul he won to Christ offered to rent their house to him so he could start the new church. He went back a few days later with enough money to rent this fully furnished house. It takes two hours by bus to get to this city. Pastor Tedeschi has won 51 people to Christ in the last 2 months and baptized 8 new converts. He is now looking for a larger building to rent to accommodate all the new converts he is winning to Christ. This church has a need for 60 plastic chairs, Bibles, hymnbooks, a baptistery, Gospel tracts, etc. Please pray!
On the 4th of September, another new church was started in El Cadillal, Tucumán. During the first service, there were 15 present, and many were saved. Praise the Lord! Pastor Matías Días is the pastor of this new church plant. He is in need of a vehicle in order to go multiple times during the week to teach these needy people! Please pray.
Armando Rivero is a life transformed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! He has tried to take his life by being an alcoholic! He has tried to commit suicide many times. I have been working with him during the last few years. He is having a lot of victories in his life. Now he is faithful to church, and he is my personal soul-winning partner. He and I have led 46 souls to Christ going door to door in the last 2 months. Praise the Lord!
