Brian and Liesl George Prayer Letter: Three New GrandchildrenMuch happened in the months of August and September. One of those events was that we added three grandchildren to our family. Benjamin and his wife Berenice had a little girl, Salem, in August. In September, Ezekiel and his wife Jazmin had twins, Gabriel and Elijah. All three were born in Argentina.

In September, Liesl’s dad turned 80. He is still serving as a missionary in Spain and has been there for the past 43 years. We were blessed to be able to celebrate this milestone with him. The family got together in Missouri to celebrate.

Also in September, our church in Tucuman held their national Pastors’ Conference. Many pastors from all over Argentina showed up for the week of training. There were about 45 pastors and several leaders. The church was full to capacity every day.

Our son Benjamin, who is working in Northern Argentina, took a group from the church he started a year ago to the national conference. A group of 24 people took 5 cars and traveled 15 hours to Tucuman in order to be at the conference. Five of those from his group surrendered to full-time service. The work our children do for the Lord is also fruit of our labour and fruit of your prayers for our family. Praise the Lord for these wonderful blessings!

Thankfully, I’ve been doing better. We’re gradually seeing improvement as I go to the therapist regularly and see a doctor who is helping strengthen my body internally. Our doctor thinks it would be best if we stayed in the U.S. till at least March to continue treatment. She wants my health to be strong to the point that I can be effective in the Lord’s work. I have been occupied reading a lot of books and doing exercises. All of us are wanting to be back in Argentina and miss it terribly. Please pray that I can get better use of my left hand; I’m left-handed, so this has been a bit of a struggle. The Lord has been good.

Thanks so much for all of your prayers,

Brian George and Family
