“And the gospel must first be published among all nations.”
(Mark 13:10)
This letter is to let you know where I am and what I am doing. I had a stroke Sunday, June 16, at 1:30 in the morning. I spent two weeks in the hospital and a month in a nursing home for therapy. My whole left side has been paralyzed for the entire time. Please pray that God will restore me.
Our 8th Annual BEST Missions Conference will be held at Colonial Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas, on September 1 & 2, at 6:30 p.m. Please try to be there. You and your church will enjoy yourselves. One thing we promote is publishing the Word of God!
I have preached for years. No one should quit doing what he loves doing. I love going to churches and telling them of the need for publishing the Word of God and supplying Bibles for those who have never seen one. A young man named Daniel has been driving me to meetings for several years. What a blessing he has been.
I feel I need to keep doing what God has called me to do, what I am doing. It is just a matter of time before God hits the brakes, and I will know I have to stop what I’m doing. I don’t want to quit. I have a full schedule that I must fulfill, and I am looking forward to seeing many of you.
Into all the world,
Brother Bowen
