It is a pleasure for us to be able to write you this letter to inform you of what God continues to do in the Annabel de Vallejo Home, a ministry that God has allowed me to continue through my parents, Robert and Rebeca Murillo.
I want to thank God for the way He has cared for and provided for every need in the children’s home. I also want to thank all of you who generously continue to support this ministry and especially for keeping us in your prayers.
God has allowed us to have a good group of children in the home who continue to receive education and faithfully attend church, where they continue to learn to know and serve our God. We thank God also for Bro. Juan Manuel and his wife Beatriz, who continue to take full care of the children of the orphanage. There is also a young woman named Liz who arrived as a young girl at the children’s home and now works inside the home, which is a great blessing. For her, this place is her home, and the children are her family.
We want to thank all of you for the Christmas offerings you sent. We were able to buy clothes and toys and offer them food to celebrate the end-of-the-year activities, and that was a great blessing for them. Please help us to pray for some of the projects we have for the next few months. If God allows you to take part in some of these projects, it would be very helpful.
1. We need to continue with the construction, especially the driveway that connects the home to the main entrance. This is very necessary, since every time it rains, there are landslides.
2. We need to finish the construction of the Roland Garlick Homes, as there are still some details missing. We need to finish so we can move the children to that new building, as in the current one, we must make some urgent repairs and replace certain things for the safety of the children.
We are very excited about what God will continue to do in the children’s home. Our desire is that God will use us so that many children continue to be rescued from the streets and find in our ministry a family and a place where they can, above all, know Jesus Christ as the personal Saviour of their lives.
Sincerely
Romel & Hannah Sorto
