“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(I Corinthians 15:57)
The surgery my wife was supposed to get in December did not happen due to improper healing. The doctor has prescribed for her to spend time in a hyperbaric chamber to promote oxygenation of the tissues and organs and then move forward with surgery, with more hyperbaric treatment after the surgery. We are praying and looking beyond this upcoming surgery, even to the point of purchasing a hyperbaric chamber to take with us back to Thailand. Please keep us in your prayers as we look into treatments and medications on the Thailand side and verify that they will be able to provide the things my wife will need.
Running to the grocery store one night just before Christmas, I met Tim Robinson. He and another man were looking at Hot Wheels cars. I stopped to get some for Christmas gifts for the boys at church. Tim asked me how long I had been collecting, as he had been collecting for many years. I chuckled inside, because it must have been a funny sight to see three older men looking through the Hot Wheels box. We chatted for a while, and as I was about to walk away, I reached for a tract to give them but didn’t have any. So, I dismissed myself and started walking away. I felt so bad because we’d had a friendly conversation, and I didn’t even have a tract to give them. As I rounded the corner, the Holy Spirit told me to go back. I turned around and headed back.
My mind was racing. What was I going to do? When I walked up to them, I said, “I need to ask you fellows something very important.” Tim asked, “What is it?” I then asked them if they were to die, did they know for sure they would go to Heaven. Tim, with a look of amazement on his face, said “No.” The other man said he didn’t think anyone could know. I then asked if they believed in God, the One Who created the heavens and the earth. They both said “Yes.” I then asked them if God tells the truth or lies. They both said, “He tells the truth.” I asked, “If God said you could know you would go to Heaven, would you believe Him?” Tim said, “Yes, I would.” The other man said that he didn’t believe God had said it, so I quoted I John 5:13. Tim’s mouth was wide open, and his eyes were as big as saucers. The other man said, “I gotta go,” and he left.
I looked back at Tim; his mouth was still open, and his eyes were really wide. I asked him if he was okay. He said, Yes, I’m okay. It’s just that this is amazing!” I asked, “What is amazing?” He said, “Just before I came out tonight, I prayed and asked God if He would help me know how to go to Heaven. I was afraid to die because I wouldn’t go to Heaven. On the way over here, I told my friend what I had prayed and asked if he knew how to go to Heaven, but he started talking all crazy. Then you were talking with us and left, but you came back and asked if we knew we would go to Heaven. Then you tell me what God said—that I can know.” I asked him if he would like me to tell him how to go to Heaven, and he replied in the affirmative. I began to preach the Gospel unto him. In a little while, Tim bowed his head and called upon the Lord Jesus for salvation. When he looked up, I asked where he would go if he were to die now. He answered, “Heaven!” Glory, Hallelujah to the Lord Jesus Christ!
Thank you for all your faithful prayers and support!
Yours for His harvest,
