It is a pleasure to communicate with you again, to make you participate in the progress of God’s work here in the Dominican Republic. My wife and I want to thank the Lord for His great faithfulness in helping us move forward in the midst of trials and challenges that are common in missionary work (I Corinthians 15:58).
One of the greatest blessings that we have seen lately in the church has been the addition of a family of five people we reached for Christ. They are fruit of the memorial service we held for Sister Mercedes, whom we reached for the Lord while she was exercising near the church building. Sister Mercedes had an irreprehensible testimony, and she went Home to be with the Lord. As a result of that, some of her children and grandchildren have now come to Christ. Please pray for Oreste, Tania, and Oreste Jr. Isidro and for Mrs. Dominicana. Pray also that as a family, they will decide to be baptized.
Another ministry that we have added to our soul-winning time is the parks ministry. Dozens of people have been saved, and thank the Lord, some young people have visited us on Sundays.
Please continue praying for the church that we have started in La Playita, Haina. This month, we have gained several Haitians for Christ. There is a large community of them in La Playita. We are waiting for a missionary to the Haitians who is thinking of working with them.
I am always pleased to report our progress in our investment for mission works. We have taken another family on for support, the Santos family. They will be working in the northern part of the country. We are very grateful to our God for granting us the opportunity to teach our church to invest in the spread of the Gospel.
I also want to ask for prayers on behalf of my beloved wife, who will undergo eye surgery. Please pray that everything will go well.

Es un placer comunicarnos de nuevo con ustedes, para hacerles participe del progreso de la obra de Dios, aquí en Republica Dominicana. Mi esposa y yo queremos agradecer al Señor por su gran fidelidad al ayudarnos a proseguir adelante en medio de las pruebas y dificultades las cuales son comunes al trabajo misionero (I Corintios 15:58).
Una de las grandes bendiciones que hemos visto últimamente en la iglesia, ha sido la añadidura de una familia de 5 personas que alcanzamos para Cristo, fruto del memorial de la Hermana Mercedes, la cual alcanzamos para el Señor mientras se ejercitaba cerca de la iglesia. La Hermana Mercedes, tuvo un testimonio irreprensible, partió con el Señor, y fruto de eso ahora parte de sus hijos y nietos han venido a los pies del Señor. Por favor orar por Oreste, Tania, Oreste Jr. Isidro, y la Sra. Dominicana, varios de ellos ya han manifestado su deseo de ser bautizados.
Otro ministerio que hemos añadido al ministerio de ganar almas son los parques de la capital, Santo Domingo, decenas de personas han sido salvos y gracias al Señor algunos jóvenes nos han visitado los domingos.
Por favor de seguir orando por la iglesia que hemos empezado en la Playita de Haina, este mes hemos ganado varios Haitianos para el Señor, hay una gran comunidad de ellos, estamos en la espera de un misionero a los Haitianos que está pensando trabajar con ellos.
Siempre me agrada informar de nuestro avance en nuestra inversión en la obra misionera, hemos tomado otra familia para sostenerla como misioneros de nuestra iglesia, la familia Santos, la cual estará trabajando en la parte norte del país. Estamos muy agradecidos con nuestro Dios, por concedernos la oportunidad de enseñarle a nuestra iglesia a invertir en el esparcimiento de la obra del Señor y el Evangelio.
Quiero también pedir sus oraciones a favor de mi amada esposa, la cual será operada de sus ojos, favor de orar para que todo salga bien.
Una vez más agradecemos sus oraciones y su inversión a favor de los perdidos aquí en la Republica Dominicana.
