Adam and Karen DePaolis Prayer Letter: Back into the Rhythm of Ministry in MexicoThank you for your prayers for our family. We have been back in Mexico for a month now. We made it back home without incident, and all 14 boxes arrived safely as well. It finally feels like we are getting settled in here.

Much has happened since being back. As I mentioned in our last letter, Olivia started kindergarten; and, as I’m sure you can understand, it has been an exciting and nervous time for all involved, especially her mommy. Karen as well has gone back to teaching here at the Christian school. She is teaching elementary and high school English, and she is helping in the music program.

Since arriving home, we have tried to jump back into the rhythm of things as best as possible. In the middle of October, we had the opportunity to attend a Missions Conference in Northern Mexico at Iglesia Bautista El Camino in Tijuana, Mexico, after which Karen and I were able to attend our church’s Marriage Retreat.

This month of November has been busy as well. The church where we are currently working is preparing to celebrate their 22nd Anniversary. There have been several work days, with the men of the church making needed repairs and updates to the church property. Lord willing, we will see lives reached during the Anniversary Conference. Please be in prayer for this meeting.

Praise the Lord, a few of our prayer requests previously mentioned have been answered and/or are in the process of being answered. I have an appointment scheduled later this month for my Mexican Residency, and Karen has been given a date for her U.S. Citizenship Exam. We will be returning to the USA briefly in the month of December to attend that appointment.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. Here are a few ways for which you can purposefully pray for us:

• Pray for the appointment for my Mexican Residency on November 21.
• Pray for Karen’s U.S. Citizenship Exam on December 12.
• Pray that we can find a suitable house to rent.
• Pray that God gives us wisdom in finding a reliable vehicle—we have the funds necessary but want to make a wise purchase.
• Pray for the church plant, which we hope to start this coming spring: Iglesia Bautista La Gracia, Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo, Mexico (“Grace Baptist Church, Sahagún City, Hidalgo, Mexico”).
