WOW! What an incredible month! I was able to help with the registration and the nursery. It was amazing to see over 50 churches represented in the conference, and each church represented a part of Ghana being reached with the Gospel of Jesus. It was such a blessing to be able to help with the conference. God moved in a special way in my heart. The incredible reminder to love God means to love those who don’t love you and even disagree with you.
I was also able to help in a daughter church in Mamponteng, Ghana. Pastor and Mrs. Kingsley (Lydia) Addai have been there for 5 years and are doing a great work! I was able to help in Bible Club on Saturday and Junior Church on Sunday. Wow! God is using the workers there to do a great work and reach many children with the Gospel of Jesus! There were 55 children at the Bible Club, and 15 placed their trust in Jesus. God is present in Mamponteng, and He is using these workers to do a great work in the name of Jesus.
The following Tuesday through Friday in Mamponteng, we held a Vacation Bible School. The Spirit of God was present. We had 309 children come, with 110 of them placing their trust in Jesus Christ. The love and passion the people have here to share the Gospel with these children amazes me—from the songs, to the games, to holding babies so the older children can participate, to talking to the same child several days in a row to be sure they understand. The love of God shines brightly through these workers.
Please pray for the children to start faithfully attending church and for their parents to be exposed to the Gospel through their lives.
