Becky and I continue to be amazed at what the LORD is doing here in the Vancouver area. The year of 2024 brought many reasons to rejoice in the goodness of God. The LORD enabled Anchor Baptist Church to see 61 precious people accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour! We were also blessed to baptize 39 people! This is all by the grace of God. To Him be all the glory and praise!Our church theme for 2025 is “Give Him Glory!” This is taken from Revelation 4:11, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” It is our prayer that in 2025, God will receive much glory from our lives. During the month of January, God stirred the baptismal waters all four Sundays, as eight precious people were baptized! Hallelujah!
My health journey continues to be challenging, but we are aware of the daily grace of God that sustains us. I am still dealing with severe burning pain and weakness in both of my feet. My balance is off, which requires the use of a cane. Thank you for continuing to pray for my healing. Becky and I are humbled that so many people are joining us in this battle.
Prayer Requests
• Gospel Farsi Ministry – Yasin and Saba are leading this ministry. They meet every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 and Wednesday nights on Zoom. God is really moving in the Farsi-speaking community here in Vancouver.
• Church Building – We are currently using two locations for our services. God willing, this will be the year we move into a permanent meeting location.
• God’s Protection – The enemy is really attacking within Anchor Baptist Church.We love you and thank God for you.
