  • Ben and Becky Turner Prayer Letter: God Continues to Draw Folks to Himself! The second half of 2025 is upon us! We are amazed at the way God continues to draw lost souls to Himself. To God be all the glory!

One particular Gospel story happened on Saturday, July 5. Becky was at the Metrotown Skytrain station with several people from Anchor Baptist. They were handing out Gospel tracts and engaging people in conversation. God brought Maureen (pictured) across Becky’s path. Maureen is Ugandan, and she is deaf. Becky invited her to church, and she came! After the service, I sat with her in the church room as we watched Jon Barr share the Gospel with her with ASL. Maureen was attentively watching as he explained the message of John 3:16. At the end of the video, she accepted God’s gift of salvation! Hallelujah! Please pray with us as we seek to encourage Maureen as she grows in grace. Silent Word Ministries has several videos that will help, but we need a long-term solution.

The Gospel Farsi Ministry continues to see numerical and spiritual growth. Pastor Y___ just designed a Gospel tract. We can’t wait to receive them from the printer. There are several people in the church who have Persian contacts they are encouraging in the things of the Lord. Please continue praying.

There is so much praise to give to the LORD! On June 1, Anchor Baptist Church celebrated 24 years of ministry in Burnaby and beyond. Several people have been saved recently, and 4 people followed the Lord in believer’s baptism last month.

I also want to thank you for your continued prayers for my health. The nerve pain continues, and in some ways, it is increasing. I say this only to update you as to how to pray. I’m seeking God’s will on other possible treatments. God is good.

    Your friends in Vancouver!
