We praise the Lord for 5 new graduates from Hyles-Anderson College of West Africa, which brings our totals to 48 diploma recipients and 57 degree recipients. Please let me share with you the testimonies of these graduates as they are pictured from left to right with me, Brother Osgood, and Pastor Speer.
• Junior Gaye testifies that he had been attending a certain church in Liberia for 20 years, but they did not teach the truth about salvation. Then in December 2021, he met our graduate Samuel Mehn, who showed him the way to Heaven. Brother Mehn also introduced Brother Junior to our college. During Brother Junior’s time here, he served our church well as a soul winner and as an usher.
• Sylvester Gonquoi was blessed to grow up in a Christian home in Liberia. In 2012, his father led him to Christ. Brother Sylvester also heard about our Bible college from our graduate Samuel Mehn. Sylvester was in our work scholarship/junior staff program, the Faithful Men. He involved himself in our church on a bus route, in soul winning, in the choir, and as an usher. Eventually, he hopes to be a full-time senior pastor.
• Anthony Zuapeawon has had a zeal for the Lord for many years. While in Liberia, he heard about our Bible college from our graduate Rancy Harris; he enrolled in June of 2021. Brother Anthony testifies that he did not understand salvation until Brother Osgood preached to him upon his arrival in Ghana. He is a soul winner, an usher, and has been a supervisor in our Faithful Men program. He has led a prayer meeting in the Difference Makers Sunday School Class. He plans to start a church in Ganta City, Nimba County, Liberia; Brother Sylvester will work with him for some time.
• Peter Frimpong learned of our Bible college from our billboard in the front our church property. He came to my office in August of 2016, and I was privileged to lead him to Christ. Brother Peter started attending this church and brought his family with him. He has such a zeal for souls that our church hired him to be our visitation pastor. He desires to continue serving in the ministry and to lead as God grants the opportunity.
• In 2016, Pastor Isaac Owusu Ansah was walking with a friend when he met one of our graduates, Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu. Pastor Osei-Owusu led him to Christ and encouraged him to attend our Bible college. He served as a full-time pastor nearly the entire time he was in Bible college. He pastors the Fundamental Baptist Church of Petrensa. He has a desire to open another branch at a village called Kokodei. Please pray for these graduates. Brother Peter and Pastor Isaac are Ghanaian; they continue to serve here. The other three are Liberian, and they have already returned to Liberia to start their ministries there. Pray for God to send us more like these to train. Pray for Emmanuel and Miracle, who just joined our Faithful Men program today!
Thank you for your prayers and support!
