How swiftly the summer months are coming to an end! Though rejoicing in many victories and blessings of the recent months, my mind still thinks of Jeremiah 8:20, which states, “. . . the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” In the last couple of months, we rejoice in many that have been saved, yet multitudes in our city, in our nation, and throughout our world still desperately need to hear of Jesus, Who is mighty to save! May we all continue, So Much the More, to throw out the LIFELINE to those around us who are in need of Christ!

We have been blessed to have more of our folks getting involved in soul winning and serving the Lord this summer! We scheduled 10 Super Saturday Soul-Winning opportunities for our church family to get involved in. Many have responded and gotten more involved in giving out Gospel tracts, distributing door-hanger invitations, and learning how to share the Gospel with others! Recently, several various family units have been saved together! This is always a wonderful joy! In recent weeks, 13-year-old twins got saved on the same day, a father and son got saved together on the same day, and a visiting husband and wife (friends of one of our ladies at church) got saved together! The next week, one of our men had his brother and family visit him from out of town; their 3 young people got saved at church, and then the father, mother, and mother-in-law all got saved in a follow-up visit 2 days later in the home of his brother! The next week, one of our families brought a visiting family that is new to Canada to church with them, and the family of 3—a father, mother, and 16-year-old son—all got saved together! Last Sunday, my wife led 2 young sisters from Nigeria to Christ! What a joy it is to see souls come to Christ, and what an even greater joy it is to see family members trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour TOGETHER!

In July, God prospered us with a successful and victorious 26th Annual Soul-Winning Conference! God greatly used our speakers to be a tremendous blessing and motivation to us all in the matter of personal soul winning AND personal discipleship. So Much the More, it is our desire to be used of God to help develop believers to maturity and productivity for the cause of Christ! The nation of Canada is in great need of labourers and preachers to minster the Gospel and edify the believers.

Lastly, may I ask your help in prayer about some physical needs for both my wife and me? First, please pray for my wife, as she will be undergoing an extensive dental surgery on August 28. There will be a major recovery and transition for her once the surgery side of it is done. Also, please be in prayer for knee and joint issues I have been struggling with. Arthritis has developed in both knees, as well as my left ankle, and at times, it really flares up with pain and discomfort and hobbles me up. We would appreciate your prayers concerning these matters! Also, please pray for our Ladies’ Fall Jubilee conducted in September and our 27th Anniversary Sunday conducted in October!
