  • Missionary #6506 Prayer Letter: God Is Directing Our Steps! It’s amazing to watch God direct our steps! Over the past couple of months, we have traveled more than 3,000 miles. During these travels, we faced a two-week gap in our schedule that needed to be filled. I made countless calls to churches, but in the Southwest, churches are few and far between. As the gap drew closer, I decided we would make a 16-hour drive from Arizona to Texas, where we had a place to stay.

Before that trip, however, God had other plans. At a Missions Conference in Arizona, we met another missionary family ministering to the Navajo people. When they heard about our plan to go to Texas, they urged us not to make the long drive and instead invited us to stay with them on the Navajo reservation. Not only did this spare us hours of travel, but God also opened up opportunities for meetings on the reservation, and we gained a new supporting church!

To make it even better, we discovered that this missionary family, the M___s, was also scheduled to attend our next Missions Conference in New Mexico. God orchestrated every step, and we are so thankful for the M___s’ friendship and hospitality. Praise the Lord for how He takes care of His servants!

Another huge answer to prayer is that my paperwork for the digital nomad visa was approved! This means when we arrive in Turkey by next April, we should be able to stay in the country long-term without interruption. In the meantime, our focus is on raising funds for the building project in Turkey. Please visit love4turkey.com for updates on what God is doing and how much has been raised so far. We ask that you prayerfully consider how you might support this project financially.

Please pray for two refugee men in Turkey, whom God has brought into our lives. These men are eager to serve Christ and have committed to meeting weekly for several hours to attend Bible college classes. This is a tremendous opportunity to invest in their spiritual growth and future ministry.

We also rejoice in what God is doing in our family. Our 15-year-old son recently preached his first sermon during the teen preaching time on a Sunday evening. Not only did he do well, but he’s already volunteered to preach again! God greatly moved his heart during our time on the Navajo reservation, and he is now praying about becoming a missionary to the Navajo people.

We praise the Lord that He makes us fit for the ministry and equips us for the work He has called us to do. Thank you for your faithful prayers and support!

    In Christ,

    Missionary #6506
