DANIEL SOLT FAMILY

ON DEPUTATION TO ENGLAND

My parents Dave and Marybeth Solt landed in England in the fall of 1996, and a few months later I was born. At the age of four, I recognized my sin nature, and asked God for salvation…a few years later I followed Christ’s example through baptism. While growing up, I was privileged to join in multiple ministries with my parents from church planting to teen activities and children’s programs.

After graduating high school, I enrolled in Hyles-Anderson College with the goal of developing a media career. It was during the missions conference my freshman year, God spoke to me, and revealed His perfect plan for my life. Matthew 14:17-19 says, “…We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me…” Christ’s response to Andrew turned my plans upside down. Following His lead, I surrendered my life to him, changed my college major to missions, and began the path to serve Him full time in the mission field.

Rachel was born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana. At the age of seventeen, after hearing her youth pastor teach a lesson on Hell in Sunday School, Rachel got her salvation settled. She surrendered her life to the Lord in 2014 at a summer teen camp while hearing a sermon on the will of God. It was also the same year that she felt God leading her to attend Hyles-Anderson College.

God brought us together during our first semester of college, and a few months after graduation we got married. Together with Rachel, I have served in the bus ministry of FBC as a captain, CDL trainer, and junior church superintendent leading up to deputation. In the fall of 2021, we visited England together for the first time as a family, and God solidified His calling on our lives to return as full-time missionaries.

Upon returning to England, we will be serving at my father’s church in Preston, England, a city with a surrounding population of over 200,000 people. Lord willing, we plan on building a children’s program and teen department, along with participating in outreach, discipleship, media efforts, and establishing a Bible institute. We are excited about and looking forward to the new opportunities God has in store for us once we have adjusted to being on the mission field as a family.

Daniel and Rachel Solt Prayer Letter: We Have Reached 100% of Our Support!

Daniel and Rachel Solt Prayer Letter: We Have Reached 100% of Our Support!Someone is praying for us! We’re so grateful that you have lifted up our family in prayer. On the 26th of this month, we sat in our doctor’s office and received wonderful news about our son’s growth! The complications have also lessened significantly. Praise the Lord!

Our meetings in October started off in Pennsylvania with Heritage Baptist Church in Jeannette. I was blessed to preach their Wednesday night service. It was an amazing church! Moving east, I drove to York, Pennsylvania, to join Bible Baptist Church for their Missions Conference. Bro. Sigstad preached a powerful set of messages, and it was a joy to see many new Christians jump on board with the missions program!

Leaving Pennsylvania, I traveled into Virginia to be with Green Valley Baptist Church in Middletown. This church is in the midst of a much-needed building program, and I was blessed by the faithful testimony of Pastor Kirchoff and the church family to move forward for God! The next stop was at Fellowship Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina. Spending some time with Dr. Finley was certainly a highlight, and it was an honor to present our ministry in their Sunday evening service. The month ended in Southern California with Missions Sunday at Pacific Baptist Church of Monterey Park. This new church in Los Angeles has a great spirit for the Lord!

Soul Report

This month, we witnessed to seven souls. While out door knocking in York, Pennsylvania, with a couple of teenagers from Bible Baptist Church, I met a kind man named Shawn. Shawn was a practicing Catholic and shared with me that he was not sure anyone could be sure of salvation. I’m so glad that God gave me this opportunity to share Jesus with him. Pray for his salvation, as he told me that he wasn’t ready at that time.

Family Update

I’m so thankful for my in-laws, Kevin and Merlene Strong, who have taken great care of Rachel and Ruby while I’ve been on the road. Only a few more weeks stand between us being reunited as a family. We found out this month that God has used your faithful giving to bring us to 100% of our needed support. Where He guides, He provides. Praise the Lord! Thank you, Friend, for your love for the Lord and our
family! We thank God regularly for your prayers and support. We are humbled to represent you in the harvest!

Ruby’s Adventures

Ruby’s been loving autumn–playing in the leaves, picking pumpkins, carving her first one, and enjoying the harvest carnival at Florence Baptist Church with her mommy.

Prayer Requests

1. Continued improvement in our pregnancy
2. Safety as I travel through West Virginia and Michigan, followed by a long drive to Montana
3. Rachel’s visa
4. Soul-winning opportunities

May our lives glorify Him,

Daniel, Rachel, Ruby, and Andrew Solt
