The Lord saved me at the age of five in my parents’ home. When I was eight years old, God moved my family to the Philippines. At the age of twelve during a Missions Conference, God made it clear to me that He had created me for missions. Then at the age of fifteen, He called me to preach the Gospel.
God later gave me the privilege of preparing for ministry at Hyles-Anderson College, where I was able to study missions in the classroom and then live it out by serving weekly in the ministries of the First Baptist Church of Hammond. Now I am preparing to return to the Philippines to continue in the work God has called me to do alongside my parents and International Baptist Church of Dumaguete City.
For more than fifty years, God has kept the Philippines open to the Gospel. The people are warm and receptive, and churches continue to multiply. Yet the need for laborers remains great.
