Thank you for your prayers for the Jail Ministry. We just received a donation to purchase a printer and boxes of Bibles. Praise the Lord! I’m leading a group of men into the prison on a weekly basis. We are passing out Gospel tracts to the prisoners and giving a free Bible to the ones who get saved. We are also giving the prisoners some discipleship lessons, which they are studying during the week. The prisoners have free time to go outside from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. each day. The security guards are cooperating with us in making it a requirement to go to our Cry of Hope preaching service or to stay in their cell. We are seeing people saved almost every week as we witness to them and give them counsel. I’m super excited about this new ministry. With the printer, we are printing up lessons and material for the Prison Ministry. Thank you for your prayers!
Dr. Mark Bosje, the director of FBMI, our mission board, came to Tucuman the first weekend of September. He surprised us by giving us a really nice plaque in honor of our 25th year of serving under FBMI. It was a surprise to us! We are very happy to be part of FBMI. We were present when FBMI was founded 25 years ago by Dr. Mike Cox. We have a dedicated, first-class sending agency that serves us on a daily basis. Thank you to all the staff of FBMI for your hard work in serving this missionary and many others. Let’s keep on going forward by faith!
Pastor Missionary Larry Owens is back in Tucuman, Argentina. Bro. Owens’ wife passed away on the 13th of July. Our heart goes out to him in the loss of his wife. The church people dearly love Pastor Owens, and we all made it a big event at the airport the afternoon he arrived. Many members of the church showed up at the airport with large banners, clapping, and welcoming hugs to celebrate his return. With a lot of tears, we gave him a hero’s welcome. The church here celebrated its 30th anniversary on the Sunday Pastor Owens came back.
Here to serve,
