Paul and Ling Awi Lung Prayer Letter: Learning Through TrialsI hope this email finds you well and in good health. By God’s grace, we are doing great. My heart rejoiced in seeing all of my preacher boys and their families doing a great job in serving our Lord with joyful hearts. What a blessing it is.

As a result of your faithful support and prayers, the ministries are going well and are being blessed. I enjoy seeing the ministries functioning well. After I came back from my furlough in the United States, our church’s Missions Conference was just so great. Every evening service, the attendance numbers were more than 200 people. Bro. Peter Lian preached wonderfully about giving to missions, and four gentlemen surrendered for full-time Christian ministries. The pledges for our 2025 Faith Promise missions were unbelievable. We have learned that in hard times of trials and political struggles, God is leading us to overcome in the ways that He wants us to. Amen.

The week following our church’s Missions Conference, we went to Lashio Baptist Church in Shan Province. I preached for five nights. During the day sessions, I taught on giving and tithing; believers are investors in eternal business. I understand that God is teaching us something special in crisis times in the country.

Now we keep busy for Christian Home Week. After that, there will be Thanksgiving Day. What a blessing it is that our lives keep us busy in the work of the Lord.

In the meantime, we are looking for a truck. Pastor Bob Graham and Olathe View Road Baptist Church, Olathe, Kansas, have already given for the children’s homes, and the children are so excited about it. We will keep going on for the Lord and get the job done. Amen
