Well, the day has come that I thought would never get here—we have finished deputation!! Our next prayer letter will be coming to you straight from Mexico. After a year and 9 months traveling through 25 states and driving nearly 53,000 miles, we have come to the end of our deputation travels. It would be difficult to tell in one letter everything that we have experienced during this time, but suffice it to say that God has been very kind to our family. We are finishing this chapter of our lives very excited to return to Mexico and very aware of how blessed we truly are.
We will be returning to Mexico on September 30. Please be in prayer for our traveling safety and that we will be able to get all of our things there uneventfully. It may have been a lack of faith on my part, but when we started raising our support, I figured that if we raised enough support, we could worry about items needed for the church plant later. I’m happy to say that in addition to our support that has been raised, God has provided churches that have given us an electric piano, 300 Bibles, and money for 50 chairs and songbooks. In addition, a church promised us money to purchase 20,000 John & Romans. God most definitely has been good to us and has blessed us more than we ever imagined.

• Pray for Karen’s U.S. Naturalization paperwork to be processed quickly.
• Pray for Olivia as she transitions back to life in Mexico and starts kindergarten.
• Pray for the church plant, which we hope to start this coming spring: Iglesia Bautista La Gracia, Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo, Mexico (Grace Baptist Church, Sahagun City, Hidalgo, Mexico).
