Daniel and Rachel Solt Prayer Letter: Holiday Bible ClubThis summer’s harvest has been one of the most remarkable seasons we have witnessed. God is moving powerfully, and we are deeply humbled to play even a small role in His unfolding work. As always, we lift our praise to Him and extend heartfelt thanks for your faithful partnership and prayers.

Holiday Bible Club (VBS)

God gave us a wonderful group of children to invest in during this year’s HBC. We had over 40 children attend throughout the week, with 7 accepting Christ! There were also 10 teenagers who participated. We made a deliberate effort to engage our teenagers more actively as helpers, and it was a joy to see them step up with such a willing and Christlike spirit. We were encouraged to see some new adults step in to help—what a refreshing boost to the team! Typically, our core workers are quite worn out by week’s end, but this time, the extra hands truly lightened the load and lifted spirits.

Teen Class

After HBC, we have seen growth in the lives of our teenagers, with one of them placing her faith in Christ a few weeks ago after church. We had our first offsite teen activity, which included minigolf and ice cream. It was a great success! The following day was our “Family Emphasis Sunday.” Every age group in our children’s ministry took part in the service through song, including our teens, who shared two special pieces. For many, it was their first time singing in front of a congregation, yet they stepped forward with willing hearts and sang beautifully.

Soul Report:

Throughout the 2 months of July and August, we witnessed to 18 people, with 6 accepting Christ. One of the great joys this season was leading a man named Kurian to Christ during soul winning. To our delight, he was in church the very next day! Please pray for his continued growth, as he navigates some cultural barriers on his journey of faith. Another special moment was witnessing Emmanuel—our very first convert after arriving in England—take the next step of obedience through believer’s baptism.

Family Update

Amid all the busyness, we had the chance to take our family on a lovely outing to Newby Hall, with Grandpa and Nana joining in as well. It was a delightful day, topped off with ice cream! The family is doing well, and we have been enjoying the chance to explore nearby towns. Rachel especially loves discovering trea-sures in the local thrift shops! As autumn approaches, we are joyfully preparing for our upcoming Harvest Sunday on October 5—a special day that will include a Baby Dedication and a fellowship meal following the service. Later in the month, we will close October with Missions Sunday on the 26th, welcoming Missionaries Robert and Simone Tully from Brazil. We are praying that God would enlarge our hearts for the work of world evangelism and deepen our commitment to His global mission.

SOLT SIBLING ADVENTURES

This summer, Ruby got to experience blackberry picking for the first time! She loves to go on adventure walks through the fields and also through our village to search for the blackberries! Andrew is getting very good at rolling around, determined to grab everything in sight! He is loving to try solid foods now and gets excited when he sits in his high chair.
