Gregg and Angela Schoof Prayer Letter: Radio Station UpdateWe spent May preparing for another trip down to Burundi. It is kind of funny, but we bought a 100-liter fuel tank for the trip. Then we built a box to sort of hide it when we mounted it on top of the truck. It is still very difficult to get gasoline or diesel in Burundi, so we wanted to be prepared in advance. This time, altogether, we took an extra 170 liters so we can leave without a problem.

We also built a blinking light for the tower using LED truck running lights. The professional light we had purchased and installed never worked, even from day one. The Burundi government gave us until July to get the light working properly, so now it is blinking happily.

In mid-June, we went down again to Burundi to do a bunch of work. We painted the entire studio, installed the light, installed new batteries, and fixed microphones and headphones. During the morning show, three people would gather around one microphone, and it just didn’t work very well. Now they have four microphones and four headphones to use. I am very grateful to Pastor Noonan and Faith Baptist Church for the gift they gave more than a year ago, which I used to buy equipment that finally got installed.

We are also rejoicing for the impact the radio station is having. We just had five people come to the studio to give their testimonies of how they got saved by listening to the preaching. Another man came and told how he got saved and actually left his father’s church because the church did not preach the Gospel.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

In His service,

Gregg, Angela, Virginia, Micah, and Zachery Schoof
