In my recent Bible reading, I came across the familiar and challenging verse of Scripture where David says, “Is there not a cause?” We have lived in the Vancouver, BC, area now for over 22 years, and there is STILL a cause. The Anchor Baptist Church is 21 years old now, and there is STILL a cause. Wherever God has you living, there is STILL a cause, and He is more than able to help us fulfill that cause!
We are excited about what the Lord has in store for our family and the Anchor Baptist Church. Our youngest child Emma graduated recently from Abeka Academy and will be attending Bible college this August. Becky and I are thankful to the Lord for His continued leading of our family. On June 12, Anchor Baptist Church will celebrate 21 years of ministry here in Burnaby. The celebration will take place under 9 tents in the Kawasaki parking lot. God is so good!! Please pray for the 10,000 invitations that are being delivered between now and then.
Please continue praying with us for a miracle building in 2022. We plan to meet outside this summer for the morning services. On Sunday evenings, we rent a church building in the city right next to us. Anchor Baptist Church is the third church that uses this particular building on Sundays. Needless to say, there is a shortage of church buildings.
There are several people who recently accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour that we are praying will follow the Lord in believer’s baptism and go through discipleship. Please pray for the following men: Yulily (Ukraine), Abi (Iran), and Dawit (Ethiopia).
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your missions program. The cause of punching holes in the darkness continues here in Canada. We need more labourers! Will you please pray? Our border is still not fully open, and it seems our government is looking for more ways to be in control. We know the answer is not in Ottawa. We know that God’s people must remember the cause and continue to seek the face of our Almighty God!
We love you all!
