God sure has been good! I just got back from preaching the Second Annual Missions Conference for Gospel Light Baptist Church in Marion, Iowa, which was our sending church when we were in Mexico and Peru. The church is now pastored by Tim McCurdy, who did an amazing job planning and preparing for the conference. Each missionary preached, and I had the privilege of preaching four times during the services. There were many visitors during the conference; some souls were saved, and decisions were made. All three missionary couples were voted on for support! Thank you for your prayers, as God is answering them. Please pray that the decisions will be kept and that the Faith Promise giving would increase this year.
The spirit has been wonderful this semester at Hyles-Anderson College, as I have the privilege of teaching students in Bible classes and missions classes. God has worked in our chapel services, the classes, and the church bus routes, as well as the other areas in which we work!
We are currently in our Fall Program in the adult Sunday school class I teach. We have had various visitors over the past three weeks. One of the visitors got saved on Saturday and baptized on Sunday. Recently, I was able to lead a man named Javier to Christ while I was out soul winning. God has also blessed our daughter Katie, who is in her first semester at Hyles-Anderson College, on her bus route. She recently had several adult visitors come to our class from the church bus route on which she works. Please pray for God to use her and the rest of our family for His work.
Pray for the upcoming FBMI Missions Mastermind in Ghana, which will be held November 13-21, 2019. Missionaries, businessmen, and FBMI staff members will work together on ideas to further the Gospel in the regions beyond. See details at https://www.fbmi.org/event/mm.
Thank you for praying for my trip to preach a Missions Conference in Guatemala at the end of July. The Lord blessed in a great way, with just under 50 saved for the week, a full auditorium for all the services, a wonderful international meal and fellowship, and great decisions made for the Lord. What a tremendous work God is doing through Daniel and Misty Wilder and family!
Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support.
For His glory,
Jeremy Snipes
