Since 2005, A.W.B.M. has been raising money to help national pastors build church buildings and suitable housing for the pastors throughout Asia. As a businessman prior to going to the Philippines in 2002, I was able to help build scores of churches and houses for a fraction of the cost it now takes. Every week, I hear of ministry needs from some part of Asia.
We recently were able to complete the roofing project at Gospel Baptist Church in Bacolod City, with the help of Faith Baptist Church, Bourbonnais, Illinois. We thank this wonderful church, which has supported us since we began deputation years ago.
Projects we are currently raising money for are houses that need to be completed for two pastors in the Philippines.
Finally, I received an email from a Burmese church planter saying, “It is with a heavy heart I write this email to you. On the 11th of this month, my motorcycle was stolen. As I exited the house after just sharing the Gospel with some unbelievers, I was dismayed to find my motorcycle was no longer parked outside. I have been riding that motorcycle for several years. When you came to my church, I picked you up from the port on the back of that motorcycle. In my ministry, that motorcycle was like my leg. It was an essential extension of myself, a vital instrument that helped me reach out and serve others with ease and efficiency.” I will be trying to raise about $1,000 to help replace his motorcycle.
We are trusting the Lord to supply the funds to help each of these pastors. Please pray about having a part to help them reach Asia with the Gospel.
Thank you for your past support and continual prayers!
