I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday, celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! What a privilege it is to serve an almighty God! On Easter, we were privileged to be at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville, Indiana. We have known Pastor Jerry Ross and his family for years now, but we usually only got to see them when they visited our home church in California. We had a great time celebrating Easter with them. I was also able to preach the evening service. I preached from Philippians 3:10, where Paul writes: “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” I pray that we all would strive to know our Lord Jesus Christ more closely this year as we seek to preach His name to a lost world.
We finished off March with meetings in Ohio and Indiana, including the excellent Missions Conference at First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. I want to use this space to wholeheartedly thank those of you from FBC Hammond for the incredible conference and the tremendous outpouring of love and special gifts. We were truly left speechless afterward. Thank you so much for helping us continue to go on with great encouragement!
We continued into April with meetings in Texas and Missouri. We met many great people and fellow missionaries, who greatly encouraged and blessed us. After Easter in Jasonville, as mentioned above, we are now on our way to Montana, Washington, and Oregon for a series of meetings to finish off this month. Thank you for your prayers as we travel across the country.
We are now at 56% of our needed support to go to Japan! Thank you to those who prayed for our openings to be filled. God has miraculously provided, and we now have almost every Sunday through December booked (with a few openings for a morning service). We still have many midweek services available and would continue to appreciate your prayers to fill those dates. We also praise the Lord for the many people God has put in our path with whom we have been able to share tracts, as well as present the Gospel. We pray that God would use the seeds planted and watered to see a harvest eventually of those who trust Christ as their Saviour!
For His glory,
Brendan Morgan
