This month we opened up with a Missions Conference and closed out the month with a Missions Conference. We started the month out at Manitou Road Baptist Church, where we enjoyed some great preaching on missions giving and had sweet fellowship with Pastor Alber and another missionary family we met while at the conference. We want to give a big thank you to MRBC for partnering alongside us and for giving a birthday cake and gifts to our middle child Hannah for her birthday. She was so excited and surprised!
The second Missions Conference where we ended the month was at Loomis Park Baptist Church with Pastor Rich Zawadzki. We had another wonderful time of fellowship, as we caught up with many old friends and heard some good preaching that was much-needed and very refreshing for us. It was also good to see some other missionary friends of ours. We had a good time as we went out in the rain the day before Easter to go to every door in a trailer park and invite people out for the Easter Service.
We also had a wonderful time this month at Clinton Road Baptist Church with Pastor Bigg. We were there for a meeting after dropping in a few months back. They had already partnered with us in reaching East Africa, and we were excited to present our ministry to them. God blessed in the morning service and moved on some hearts. We’re so humbled and honored that God chooses to use us in the lives of many different people as we serve Him.
I was also able to go into our county jail and preach to the men there for one of their evening services. I had 28 men who came out for service. God really seemed to move in a few of the men throughout the service, and during the invitation time, 3 men trusted Jesus Christ as their own personal Saviour.
Thank you to all of you for your prayers and support. Thank you for praying for Jeffrey during his recovery from his surgery, and thank you for all of the kind emails and cards that we received for Hannah’s birthday.
Your co-labourers for lost souls across East Africa,
Brandon, Ali, Jeffrey, Hannah, & Esther Heselschwerdt
