Psalm 71:15-16, “My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day;
for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD:
I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”
How often do we who endeavor to spread the Gospel get discouraged because we do not see the results for which we yearn? Satan, knowing his time is short, seems to be fighting against we messengers as never before. Praise the Lord, we go in the strength of the Lord! Laura was able to go with me on Saturday to knock on doors. We spoke to a few people and handed out tracts. The local area has continued to grow, and we are planning to canvass those areas soon. It was encouraging to hear of the baptism of a father and son the Lord let me lead to the Saviour last summer.
While the pastor has been away, the Lord has allowed me to preach several times. I also have been teaching a series of discipleship lessons for the Midweek Bible Study. Many in the church family are faithful witnesses, so these lessons will be helpful to them in discipling their converts.
Meanwhile, please pray . . .
1. For salvations and baptisms from the new neighborhoods within our outreach area.
2. That God would bring visitors in response to the ongoing soul-winning efforts of the church family.
3. For God’s wisdom in treatment protocols for Laura’s health issues. The cancer appears to be growing slightly, and we are seeking the Lord’s will as we explore the limited treatment options available.
Thank you again for your ongoing support.
In and through the love of God and our wondrous Saviour,
Bro. Andrew L. Steers
