PRAYER LETTERS
LATEST
We thank the Lord for each soul-winning opportunity to give the Gospel here in the Philippines. Recently, Kim was able to give the Gospel to the church’s neighbor lady. Members have tried to talk to her over the years, but she is a devout Catholic and was never interested. It was during Saturday morning soul winning; as Kim was going out, the neighbor lady came out of her house also. Kim took a few minutes to chat with her and then asked if she could share something from the Bible with her. She agreed and listened so carefully. Praise the Lord, she bowed her head and called on the Lord for salvation. She even asked several times if she could keep the Gospel tract as a remembrance. We always trust God to bring the right opportunity in His divine intervention.Another answer to prayer is that last Sunday, I had the privilege to baptize a young lady. She is the sister of one of our Bible college graduates and had been attending for several weeks before her sister was able to lead her to the Lord. We thank the Lord that she followed the Lord in baptism and has become so excited about the Lord!
Recently, I was able to go visit the third church we started during their midweek service. The pastor and his wife there are both doing a great job in reaching this suburb. I remember years ago when he was a young man being trained in our Bible college. After four years of training, with many hardships and blessings, he graduated and is now serving the Lord. I was able to talk to him after the service to help encourage him in the work of the ministry. They are also holding a home Bible study on Saturdays at a nearby home. This is a great opportunity to go soul winning and invite the neighbors in the area. Please continue to pray for Family Baptist Church as they serve and grow in the Lord.
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support as we press on for the Lord here in the Philippines.
