One More Gets Assurance of Salvation!
Trip to Persian Church Confirmed—Some Logistical Details Needing PrayerA Shrinking Group of Unreached People
Praise God that He is faithful and patient. I have seen the term “unreached people groups” represent a shrinking number. Think about this: for generations, the 10-40 Window has been closed to the Gospel. Godless governments have surrounded their populations with carefully secured borders, and yet, God in His infinite wisdom has been able to fly over and tunnel under these borders using technology. A few years ago, fundamental Baptists were dubious of the internet in any form, but today, we carry the Gospel truth to thirsty people, helping pastors, workers, and seekers deliver and hear the Good News! Decades ago, prison camps used to censor love letters from home, but today, closed nations are powerless to stop the uncensored love letters of God from being received! As we mourn the dark days we live in, we should stop and thank God for the glorious life-giving days we get to WITNESS firsthand! This is worth shouting about, and I hope a few of you are shouting with me! After all, we’re going to be seeing Him face to face in a few short days; He has those days numbered!
Persian Salvations Last Week
We are celebrating the salvations of four new Persian believers: M___, M___, A___, and “G___.” “P___” received the assurance of his salvation, which is an extra special blessing to me personally! These were eager to learn what the Word of God is: Who wrote it, whom He wrote it for, how it could be fully trusted, and how it will last forever. A few of these had pondered it for years! When they learned how it could save them, they were ready to receive the free gift it promised. Please rejoice with them, as they celebrate joining a “REACHED people group.”
Travel Long Prayed for Is Confirmed!
God has confirmed our request to once again join a Persian church in the Middle East. Christians are being ejected from this country; my wife and I are planning to join several others for a very specialized conference in this city. God has asked us to teach the church members how to win souls and assume roles in the church as servants and helpers. Our plan is travel early next year for 10 days and equip the pastor and his wife. PLEASE PRAY for our teaching sessions, safety, safe entry, and health during travel. Any financial gifts for this costly trip would be welcomed. Thank you so much!
